Yes, it is possible to run your own webserver from home with a dynamic ip-address AND use your short-url to reach it!
All you have to do is to call this site from your webbrowser. We automagically determine your ip-address,
and from then on everyone who types in your short-url in his webbrowser will be redirected to your pc at home!
Important: of course you have to install and run a webserver on your pc at home.
The exact call is like this:
http://www.wannasurf.to/myred/dyn.php?user=xyz.com/yourdomain&pass=yourpassword[&dir=/directory/page.html] (optional)
where xyz.com/yourdomain is your short-url without http://www., and yourpassword is your password to log into your member's area.
Optionally you can provide us a directory and/or exact site to where to redirect (see example above). |
